Stylishly decorated in subtle colours, with wooden floors, gentle lighting and wooden artefacts this restaurant offers Indian cuisine that is reputed to be amongst the best in the capital. The menu is extensive and diverse offering old favourites and more unusual dishes such as lamb with baby mangoes, stuffed pepper and tandoori king prawns. Ordered delivery from Empress. The delivery took over an hour to arrive. When we called to enquire about the delay the staff were unhelpful and didn't offer an apology or discount. When it finally did arrive, the food was very oily. And none of the complimentary poppadums one usually receives with a large order. Such a disappointment :(more

Solid Indian food. Nothing mind-blowing, but everything was tasty and high-quality.
We started with papadam and chutney. The papadam was big and we had 5 chutneys to choose from, each offered in great portion. The chutneys were good enough that, when the waiter went to take them away before serving the meal, I asked him to leave them!
