If I had just gotten roti I would have rated this place 4 or 5 stars. However, I had ordered a common beef dish recommended by the staff and was disappointed. It was spicy and missed the note of savory which I often would expect in these dishes. I would have to say this is going on the favourite places to dine out list. Even though it is a small family owned restaurant accompanying about 11 patrons, it does have a long history with authentic taste and flavour. We had the laksa, aubergine and rendang. They laksa was very good, but also the aubergine and the rendang were good. If you're looking for a malaysian restaurants that also serves beer, this is a very good choice.more

My favourite Malaysian in London!

The roti cenai is delicious, and frankly so is everything else on the menu.

Now I have never been to Malaysia myself but this place has been recommended to me by 2 Malay friends of mine and I can see (and taste) why.

It's also decorated quite nicely. More of a café style upstairs with a restaurant feel downstairs.
