Hope and Greenwood

Welcome to cornucopia of confectionery that is Hope and Greenwood where please, thank you and polka dots are never out of fashion.

From much-loved traditional sweets in old fashioned glass jars and pick'n'mix treasures, to a lavish selection of British-made chocolates - including Granny's favourite Violet creams - you are sure to find something to tickle your fancy.

At Hope and Greenwood we get very excited about The Best of British confectionery.

Miss Hope and Mr Greenwood believe that confectionery should be as gorgeous as a pair of posh knickers or your favourite perfume. They also like inventing new sweets such as Sugar Plums, Fizz! Bang! Wallops! and Gingerbread Humbugs, because they don't like sleeping much and who needs social life anyway?

I opted for the medium bag and got to pick 2 sweets to go in. I got the cherry jellies and the pineapple chunk...more

Cute decor, love the colors, they have some candy accessories for the diet conscious gift givers.

I don't think this candy store could be cuter if it tried. It's candy-covered awesome. A stroll back to candy stores of yesteryear. Bright colors, outstanding variety, and just a whole lot of fun. I wanted to buy one of everything. I brought back a jar of gobstoppers for my office as a London souvenir. (Once the candy was gone, I brought the jar home to save.)
