Welcome to cornucopia of confectionery that is Hope and Greenwood where please, thank you and polka dots are never out of fashion.
From much-loved traditional sweets in old fashioned glass jars and pick'n'mix treasures, to a lavish selection of British-made chocolates - including Granny's favourite Violet creams - you are sure to find something to tickle your fancy.
At Hope and Greenwood we get very excited about The Best of British confectionery.
Miss Hope and Mr Greenwood believe that confectionery should be as gorgeous as a pair of posh knickers or your favourite perfume. They also like inventing new sweets such as Sugar Plums, Fizz! Bang! Wallops! and Gingerbread Humbugs, because they don't like sleeping much and who needs social life anyway?

Having watched the programme about delicious homemade sweets we sought out this shop in Covent Garden. However we were disappointed to find it was very poky and just filled with overpriced ordinary sweets which we could have got anywhere. We bought some fudge in the end (£4 for a small bag) but it was nothing special. All hype and pre packaged.more

I opted for the medium bag and got to pick 2 sweets to go in. I got the cherry jellies and the pineapple chunk...more
Sweets! It's a proper sweet shop. Touristy souvenir things mixed with the jars of old school candy behind the counter, with an array of chocolate-y fudge seasonal things on the counter and just generally strewn about the place. tastefully, methodically strewn mind you.
Cute decor, love the colors, they have some candy accessories for the diet conscious gift givers.
Kind of out of the way,...more
I don't think this candy store could be cuter if it tried. It's candy-covered awesome. A stroll back to candy stores of yesteryear. Bright colors, outstanding variety, and just a whole lot of fun. Great location in Covent...more
