Centrally located in London’s West End, Original Tagines is a Moroccan restaurant with an intimate atmosphere and wholly authentic food. Praised by critics from The Independent, Time Out and The Guardian Guide, Original Tagines has a reputation which makes pre-booking a must. It’s a small, simply put together restaurant with a hint of the East in the tile and wrought iron décor and a tendency towards the romantic thanks to flickering candle lighting and understated, helpful service. Wallet-friendly, the menu is entirely traditional but with a touch of contemporary influence in the presentation of dishes which focus on the light spicing and delicate balance of sweet and savoury common to North African cookery. An almost entirely Moroccan wine list maintains Original Tagines’ authenticity, raising it above more expensive themed restaurants in the area.
