Indiana Restaurant

Much more than your typical Indian restaurant, Salmon Lane’s Indiana is a real local institution. With its neon lights calling out to passers by, the hungry will be immediately tempted by the satisfied-looking diners tucking in at the window tables. Inside a chic, contemporary interior belies the fact that Indiana has been a Limehouse fixture since well before Canary Wharf made the area a hive of business activity and the place to live. Great design isn’t all that makes Indiana stand out. The interesting menu not only offers traditional Indian cuisine but the kitchen’s own ‘Evolved’ dishes – totally unique creations inspired by the many different flavours of the subcontinent.

Among our favorites were the railway lamb and the tikka misala. Definitely...more

We visited with an American colleague of Indian descent which meant that we were treated to some "off-menu" delights because our colleague knew how to really order! All I can say is "Wow!" - stunning selection of curries, and possibly the best naan bread I have ever had. Can't wait to get back there. Prices very reasonable and service friendly and efficient.more
