This place is a seafood restaurant that goes beyond the old deep fried. Sure you can get fish and chips but the highlights for me are the small plates and starters. My wife and i had a great experience here because it was a special night for us, but the food was so-so.

Really good fresh oysters, had the Irish native oysters from Clarinbridge, lovely, the waiter gave us two jersey oysters to try as a contrast, nice gesture.
We shared a brown Dorset crab which was super tasty, and we were given a very useful master class on how to extract the meat from the main body, really helpful.

Sometimes when I go places, I expect to like things, not love them. This was one of those cases... after looking at the menu and hearing the fish board specials, I thought, ok, this will all be fine.
