Located in a fantastic 1913 Edwardian baroque building, you'll find a touch of French Mediterranean style at Villandry St James’s. The restaurant seats 170, half in a formal dining area and the other, a Grand Cafe. The same all day dining menu is available in both areas. There is are also two private dining rooms (30 covers and 12 covers) on the mezzanine which have access to the major sporting events on television for group bookings.

Brunch might just be my favourite meal of the day (though on this occasion, our 2pm start might've been pushing the definition, but anyhoo). fillet of beeef carpaccio GBP 9.50 - served with mixed leaf salad and gran padano. This is the thinnest carpaccio I have ever had. The meat tears elegantly when pulled apart. Delicious!
