I've rarely been so torn on deciding a rating.
The parcel yard is a station gem. For someone who has spent their formative years in New Street's dingey Shakespeare and Euston's pokey Doric Arch, the airy atrium, abundance of seating and decent beer choice were an unexpected breath of fresh air. So as I walked in I was set on 5* but oh the service...

I've decided that The Parcel Yard is probably the best railway station pub in existence. You'll find it tucked up some stairs by platforms 9-11 in Kings Cross station. I've been here several times now and if you go you'll be alarmed by just how bloody nice it is. No tacky carpets, slot machines or sticky tables here, people! It's a lovely airy space which has been fitted out rather like an...more

It's reasonably priced and has a fair amount of room. The selection of beers is pretty good. On this occasion, I was only getting a quick drink but the selection of foods...more
I was astonished by The Parcel Yard! Tucked away in the corner of Kings Cross station this pub is deceptive, inside it has 2 huge floors, loads of seating and a great selection of ales. What was most surprising is how comfortably quiet and reasonably priced it is for a station!
The staff were fantastic, we sat upstairs and when they saw me head for the downstairs bar, which has the larger...more
Very roomy pub located in the back of Kings Cross train station. Unless you know where it is located, it is very easy to miss. It is pretty large with a nice atrium in the center. It is a nice place get pint before or after a train trip.
Did not try the food but the plates going by me looked pretty good.more
