Look, everybody goes here when it's sunny outside. It's an interesting looking building, they have alot of outdoor seating, and they overlook the pretty Barnes pond.
But, don't go there to eat. The staff are absolutely miserable - in fact, the manager is the worst. They only cook burgers 'well done' in order to ensure health and safety, which just goes to show you that they don't hire good...more
Six nations rugby at any London pub is manic! But at the Sun Inn in Barnes - it was great! I booked my table the day before to make sure we'd get a spot - highly recommended for match days. I got there ahead of my friend but had to leave to get her from the station, and the staff there were happy to keep the table for me although they were quite busy. My burger was extremely dry, fries were barely warm, portions were ok. The pints were good. The bill was large.more
Love this place. Never had a bad drink/ food experience. They have a garden too. Music nights at the weekend. Your dog can come too!more
This is a quaint little pub that a colleague took me to for a pint or two prior to Guy Fawkes bonfire & fireworks display in a nearby town. The place is unassuming and you'd never really think twice about popping in if you passed it every day, but once inside you're glad you did.
