Dark, down and dirty place on most Thurs and especially Friday nights opening till the witching hour jam packed full of creative and media types. Often for hooking up (guilty!) or getting wasted.
I have also been in early evening for an evening and was amazed what it looked like under lights. It was actually a beautiful inside bar. Something I had never seen. Plus points for that. In fact...more
A group of six of us came here on a Friday night and whilst I wouldn't say it's a must-go-to bar/club, it's a good enough choice to continue a fun night out if you're in the area.

The first time I went I was expecting it to be dark and dingy (you have to go downstairs to get to it, and I'm not usually a massive fan of basement bars), but was pleasantly suprised. It is actually a really great atmosphere, and if you go there early evening there are some great drinks offers.
The food is very good - standard...more
