If there's one thing I love, it's outdoor food markets. The Real Food Market is a spectacular one, with all sorts of cuisine. Great tasty selection: french, caribbean, indian, vegetarian, baked goods, cheese, wine, greek,etc. It was hard to decide.
From "the Frenchie" stall, I opted for their duck confit brioche with melted goat cheese, truffle honey, red onion chutney, rockets-arugula and crispy duck skin to top it off.... I just dribbledmore
To be honest, I was hoping for more. I'd heard this market talked up, and thought it would be great! It was a lot smaller than I imagined and I can't really describe it as 'real food'.... it's more like 'another generic food market'. There was the usual meat, cheese, street food - some of which professing their organic or free range or gluten free options..... but I didn't see a lot of good...more
I know Borough Market is the crown jewel of London food markets, but I have to say that Real Food Market is my personal favourite.
