Called in after work after being mesmerized by the offer of £5 cocktails. Unfortunately that is probably about all they are worth. The City Iced Tea didn't taste very boozy at all and was a little bit too sweet.

The menu is not that extensive and I can't really comment on much else. It was very quiet on a Monday and I've heard good things about the food but I wouldn't rush to go backmore

Another Round Please! Very reasonable Happy Hour with good drinks.

Highlights: Great tasting cocktails with ample quantity per drink, No cover, No line to get in and A huge bar with tons of space to hangout and sit.

Can improve: Better music?

Benchmark: Their Manhattan was one of better ones I have had in London. Any bar that makes good Manhattan with no line, no cover, space to move...more

Last year I started having a stall at Spitalfields market once a month. 6 months on the 2nd Friday of the month I'm still trading and also stuffing my face with the takeaway offerings from Smiths.

Smiths of Spitalfields could be so much better...

For example, the milkshakes could be bigger (though they are pretty tasty) and they could bring back the chocolate martini they used to do - that was awesome but it's not on the menu anymore!

The area has a lot of footfall at all times so Smiths is naturally pretty busy, weekends or weekdays. It just doesn't really deserve to be that...more

I've eaten at Smiths in Smithfield a number of times, however today I managed to grab breakfast (or more really brunch considering the time!) at Smiths in Spitalfield Market.

Had the legendary Breakfast Number 2. As ever, it was flavoursome and really yummy. It really is a great way to set yourself up for the day, and isn't badly priced!

Service could have been better, but wasn't awful!more
