So wish I'd read these reviews before heading to Aqua Shard for breakfast. It sounds like my experience echoes a lot of other Yelp users' experiences as well i.e. not impressed. Alex S. put it better than I ever could (as it sounds nearly exactly like what happened to us), but I just felt that the overall experience - from the atmosphere to the decor to the food was just so-so for what is...more
Just terrible from the very beginning. Be prepared to have your purse go through a scanner, then you get scanned by their staff not once but twice to confirm you have a reservation. Then the hostess is blunt enough to tell you that you only have your table for two hours. Are you serious!?

However, it's clear that the same issues we had first time around are still clearly there. It's also way over priced for what you get.
I understand that it is a high end tourist spot. Free entry to see the view of...more
