Ehhh this was ok. A client took my team and I here for lunch two weeks ago and none of us came away that impressed. Tom's Kitchen serves a simple hearty British food in a pleasant informal setting. One of the restaurants is located about 8 minutes away from Canary Wharf tube station.

Nothing sophisticated, all honest and enjoyable: turnip and horseradish soup, smoked salmon with beetroot, chicken pie (yum!), venison casserole, plum tart. Specials board always pleasantly surprises with new dishes.

There's nothing wrong with Tom's Kitchen per say. The interior is spacious, modern, and clean. The service was quick and pleasant, and the food was good. The problem with Tom's is that it's all just a little too sterile.

I ordered the crispy Belgian...more
