We love Penang"
Penang is our favourite Malaysian restaurant, located in the hustle and bustle of Westfield, White city. It offers it's busy customers a true asian street style menu. Did you know Malay cuisine is a fusion between Malay, Chinese and Indian? So it's bursting with South Asian flavours. We ordered Malay national dish Nasi Lemak (coconut rice, curry chicken, crispy anchovies,...more
Wouldn't go back. Roti was undercooked & clearly not freshly made. One of the veggie starters was a grim slop - can't remember the name. Papaya salad was fine but no punch. Spring rolls were spring rolls. Veggie green curry was suspiciously watery ....aubergine undercooked...tofu ok. Expensive as well considering you have to buy a measly thimble of rice for another 4 quid. Gf's beef...more

It's nice to see Malaysian food represented in this Westfield Mall's restaurant row.
However, in naming the restaurant Penang, they've set themselves high standards and expectations. Penang is a small paradise island located off the west coast of West Malaysia. It is well known as a food paradise and the food had to be good to evoke being back in that pearl of the Orient
Not bad for some quick Malaysian mall food. The curry puff came out hot and with a super flaky pastry. The char kway teow was much better than the mee goreng for flavor. SAYUR CURRY PUFF
Flaky puff pastry parcels, filled with steamed vegetables. Served with mango chutney for dipping
MEE GORENG PENANG!
'Street food at it's best'. Wok-fried noodles with egg, sambal oelek and oyster sauce
