His campaigns against obesity (particularly in the US) are spot on and I think every celebrity chef out there should take a cue from him in doing a bit more than just starring in reality shows where they spend half an hour screaming and shouting at their minions. So, given that the previous reviewers ratings are dreadfully LOW- maybe they have stepped it up a notch, okay half a notch because I didn't have a terrible meal here. I don't expect much from a chain, and this is not different. To add to this, I wasn't impressed with his offerings at the last Jamie's italian I visited, the canary wharf branch- in which the italian nacho was just so so so...more

Argh, it pains me to do this.

I like Jamie Oliver. Lots. I follow him on Instagram (cute pics of food and country farming and fresh plates!), I love his initiative to do a health makeover on the UK, and I appreciate his ability to get me into watching cooking shows back in the day (I had a mild crush on him as a teen, which helped).

I like Jamie Oliver and I like his food, simple, stripped-down, no-nonsense, tasty food. I liked his restaurants, kind of funky but liad back. Cool staff, you know, like "you're cool, I wanna hang out with you" kind of cool? But I don't like that there are so many of them now.
