Friend and I went here for afternoon tea on a Tuesday. We made a reservation online beforehand, and when we arrived our table was set and ready for us. The scones were warm (unlike at the Ritz, where they're served cold) and the tea was delicious. The bread on the finger sandwiches was a little stale. We went at 6pm, so it was probably cut earlier and we got some leftovers rather than made...more

Went there for the afternoon tea, knowing it's Sunday and the city full of tourists we made an online reservation for 14:30 in advance. Even got a confirmation, but on Sunday the branch was closed down and no one to find.

So please don't waste your time, they are closed and can't even manage not to accept online reservations. It's a complete waste of effort, never again!

I hate feeling like I've wasted my time - and that's exactly what happened over lunch today.

The venue itself is quite nice, nicely decorated, and the menu is quite appetising.
