Nice looking place, lovely setting for a date, It looked like a nice place to eat, but was only passing through briefly to grab a drink, after filming at Teddington Film Studio's, with Ray Winstone, before heading back to St Albans. But I'm not sure I'd be able to afford to eat there, seeing that they charge an obscene £2 for a half of Diet Coke (The cheap Pump sort, not the bottled variety)...more
I had a warm welcome when I went into the stylish, subtly-lit bar lounge of the Park Hotel, on a chilly, late-November afternoon. The barman couldn't recollect the full list of tea options available so, obligingly, he brought over the whole display box for me to make my choice. I opted for a Wellbeing variety, at £1.90, served in a tall glass - brought over to my table, when it was ready....more
