The concept behind this restaurant is an upscale Southwest American kitchen featuring flavours from states like Louisiana, Texas and New Mexico. The menu pairs vibrant flavours with the best of the UK's local and seasonal ingredients. We are excited about taking a rustic homestyle dish and turning it on its head.
While flavours pull from outside the UK, the ingredients are decidedly British and locally sourced. The Lockhart is dedicated to making use of Britain's vast array of high quality, seasonal ingredients.

Excellent place. I am really surprised this place is not more popular or hyped. Firstly the service is wonderful - friendly, knowledgeable but not overbearing. We came on a really nice Friday...more
I'm quite torn about this place. Not about whether or not to return - I'm sure I will - but about the rating. I almost want to give it 3 stars because my meal was only alright, but I'll give it 4 stars because everyone else's meal was so good.
The service, first of all, was great. The staff were lovely, gave great recommendations, and were all around working to provide a really pleasant...more

The pork hash was very good and very tasty! However, considering the prices for these dishes I expected larger portions but was extremely disappointed. I was still hungry after my meal. We also order the sticky bun which was...more

Menu included classics like biscuits and gravy, chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits. Cocktails are slightly expensive, averaging around £9 each, and my lady Lockhart was...more
