The concept behind this restaurant is an upscale Southwest American kitchen featuring flavours from states like Louisiana, Texas and New Mexico. The menu pairs vibrant flavours with the best of the UK's local and seasonal ingredients. We are excited about taking a rustic homestyle dish and turning it on its head.
While flavours pull from outside the UK, the ingredients are decidedly British and locally sourced. The Lockhart is dedicated to making use of Britain's vast array of high quality, seasonal ingredients.

My girlfriend and I showed up early for brunch on Sunday afternoon. They were able to sit us within 5 minutes which was great. I had the chicken and waffles, girlfriend had the shrimp and grits and we both shared the cornbread.
- cornbread, shrimp and grits, and chicken and waffles were really delicious!
- lovely ambience and a good place for a romantic but casual brunch.

I get too many emails with daily deals - and for once this place caught my eye in the subject of the e-mail from Travelzoo. Of course I had to check the Yelp reviews to see if it was worth getting and all the great reviews on the fried chicken - it had to be done. It was a really good deal - 2 course meal for two, with a glass of prosecco for 29 pounds!
We came on a really nice Friday...more
