Perhaps it is because I didn't eat the food on the plane so I didn't start with a really low bar. I didn't have the same experience at Zayani as many of the other reviewers. For me, Zayani = bland.
The waiter suggested chicken jalfrezi and mix veg rogan josh. I paired that with naan. But the flavor wasn't there. The tomato paste base was overpowering the chilis. The naan was a tad...more
Our flight had a layover in Heathrow. We were staying at the Renaissance Hotel on Bath road. I found this restuarant on Yelp and decided to try it.
It was awesome. We were so pleased with everything. The food, the price, the service. Now whenever we have a layover in Heathrow, we try to time it so that we can catch dinner at Zayani.
It's within walking distance from the Renaissance...more

This is the food you want! They deliver to the airport hotels.
After a dismal experience at the Pheasant, I returned to my hotel room. When my partner finally arrived past ten, some more food was required so we phoned Zayani for delivery. They were very professional and within about 30 minutes they were knocking on our room door.
We didn't order much, just some butter chicken, basmati rice...more
Located on Simpson road in the middle of the burbs Zayani is definitely a hidden gem to try while staying in the Heathrow area. It is about a 5 minute walk from the Park Inn and walking distance from many of the hotels on Bath Road and well worth the walk.
We ended up coming here 2 times during our stay in the area not cause a lack of option but Zayani and the Pheasant are the only 2 decent...more
