Caravan is a delightful brunch spot for a Sunday! Although the wait was over an hour (no reservations on the weekend), there was more than enough room at the bar to enjoy a Bellini/Bloody Mary before being seated.
Good waiting system as they will text you when your table is ready, so a quick walk along the canal will pass the time.

As much of a brunch-hater that I am, I have to say that Caravan is very good at what it does. That is - creative, interesting breakfast dishes that bridge the gap between sweet and savoury, breakfast and (yuck) lunch, and they do a great job of introducing popular international elements into their dishes where so many have failed.

We had garlic yoghurt flatbread, chickpea chips, cheese and bresaola and braised beef strozzapretti between the two of us. Favs being flatbread and chickpea chips
For dessert had pumpkin cheesecake... Amazing!

First off, Caravan is more like a 3.5/5 stars in my book. I quite like the place - the space has that cool, warehouse conversion feel we're all going crazy over nowadays, and it's always buzzing with people. This place is popular, really popular. We came for a Sunday brunch and were told it was almost a 2 hour wait. The other option was to hawk the bar and grab a seat when they came available. Not wanting to wait two hours we waited for a seat at the bar and after 10 mins a couple of stools became available.
