I was so disappointed in this because I'd read such great things about it.
I went here last weekend with 2 girlfriend to have Sunday brunch. The sort of Sunday brunch where you talk for hours and generally set the world to right (only girls will understand how important it is to have these sessions. They should be mandatory).

If I tell you it's a cavernous, converted Victorian grain store accessible by a concrete walkway out the back of Kings Cross station that makes you think you're in the middle of industrial no-mans-land - then I'd wager that words like 'cosy' and 'buzzing' aren't the first ones on your mind! We're lucky enough to have in our friends some real Londoners who know where to find the great places :-)
So on a Sunday we find our way to King's Cross... just follow the crowd, we were not the only ones to wait for the opening of Caravan ;-)

Oh, you know...it's a pretty sweet spot. Converted warehouse building with soaring ceilings, rustic wood interior, fine coffee and cakes, and a full menu by which to indulge.
This sweet spot can, however, be hard to find. Please do not make the mistake I have made (multiple times). If you are coming out of Kings Cross Station it's quite easy, exit out the back (north) and there is a pathway...more
One of my favourite breakfast places in London.
The walk there is amazing, up past the being constructed buildings at Kings Cross, over the bridge, through the fountains, into a converted building which once held Lincolnshire wheat for London's bakers. Check out the interactive display table which shows the history of the surrounding area.
