I want to like Caravan, I really do. I want to give it more stars purely for the food, but I just can't. The reason why I can't give it more stars is because of the service.

This place is popular, really popular. We came for a Sunday brunch and were told it was almost a 2 hour wait. The other option was to hawk the bar and grab a seat when they came available. Not wanting to wait two hours we waited for a seat at the bar and after 10 mins a couple of stools became available. I finally had a chance to visit Caravan Kings Cross last weekend. I was very excited about this place as everyone seems to love it, but to be honest, it kind of disappointed me.

Breakfast is a big event at this place. They're taking it seriously.

We wanted to sit outside but at 10.30 it was rammed and there was a table available inside, so in we went. First complaint: the music is too loud. Feel free to call me an old woman but it's Sunday morning and I'm out for breakfast - loud music is not what I signed up for.
