We came here for a filming of "Dave Gorman's Modern Life Is Goodish" which already makes things great because it's a brilliant show. But the Tabernacle itself is a delightful little venue - smaller inside than you might expect, but intimate and comfortable and still with warm decor throughout the theatre space.

What an amazing place! Quite hard to find off a square mainly surrounded by houses. Turrets to the side of the large brick building and a massive iron gate on entrance. Downstairs is an open bar with comfy seating and reasonably priced drink and food. Upstairs is a nice stage with a big open area, a a few seats available around the elevated outside area. Well I came here twice, one to watch Emelia Sande and another up coming singer.

We had bought A buy one get one free Rum Punch which tasted great, but was put in small cups which was rip off for £7:50 we...more
