Put all of the outer stands in Camden market on ignore. You have to walk through them to get to the stables, but don't give up en route. This is the best part of Camden, in my opinion. It has convinced me that I need the following things in my life:
-vintage Burberry trench
-vintage fur coat
-earrings made of plastic in every color and shape
-old-timey luggage
-Maps of really anything

Super huge catacomb of shopping for the weird, unnecessary and sometimes GOLD!
Found my vintage Antler suitcase there and the little old lady who sold it to me was charming.
It's easy to get lost in the thick of all the great/worthless stuff they have in there. I'd say grab a coffee and a bun and take a walk around first just to "window shop" - mark off where to you to re-visit, then go...more

Wow this place has changed. I worked here (before the stables were opened up) when they used to just be one level of indoor markets.
The Stables is now a huge maze of clothing, gifts, antiques, FOOD and souvenires.
Very crowded, a little on the expensive touristy side but still a great place to go walk around and look for some very unique items and clothing.more
We always visit this place to see whats new, and always find a cool little stall with something unique we have to have. I found a great watch maker who hand makes different types of leather watch straps for his various watch faces on display. Great prices, quality hand made items most the time (expect the cheap made in china crap) and always a good time. Plenty of food stalls all over the...more
