Met a friend here on a Friday evening for a quick drink before heading on elsewhere. When you enter it seemed like your average loud and sticky bar. The music they were playing was really strange and basically sounded like the soundtrack you have in Superdrug (badly sung pop-covers because they don't want to pay for the originals). Great little place, ultra conveniently located. It has a warm feel and very friendly staff. They host comedy nights and live music which can be quite entertaining. The menu offers very good quality bar food.

As it is centrally located and easy to find, it is a useful spot to catch up with out of town friends who don't know the area.

I'm pleased to report the liquor pour here is generous, unlike the rest of London pubs which use a mechanical device to ration alcohol like the world supply is finite and no more can ever be produced.more

It strives to be a lot more than it is. People say it's a great place for a night out. I disagree. Both times I've been here, I've been disappointed. The drinks are not strong, the music ranges from I don't know to I don't know. The staff is rude as well. Move down the road to other Shoreditch venues for a good time.more
