So after taking my daughter here to see Rio 2, I'm about £30 lighter and that's only because we took our own water and 3D glasses. Over £20 to take a kid to a movie and then another £10 on popcorn and sweets somehow feels v.expensive for what it is. There's just the two of us so I suppose I should be grateful we're not a family of 5 or I'd have spent the best part of £100.more
Decent cinema. Yeah the seats look a bit crummy if you're there when the lights are on but seat comfort isn't too bad. I've rarely had to wait longer than 3mins to buy tickets as it's never that busy regardless of whether it's a blockbuster or not (moreso whrn it's a small independent film as you'll struggle to get 20 people in - so quiet!).

Most of the reviews for odeon cinema in Surrey quays are out of date, sorry guys but they are.
A few years from now so will mine, but while I am writing let me update you. The layout is very much the same but the facilities have benefitted from a much needed upgrade like the toilets have been done up, almost all the screens now have premiere seats located at the back.

Surrey Quays Odeon is my time away from reality. 2 hours of a mind numbing movie watching experience. Obviously it works really well for me because I just roll out of my apartment into a theater seat. I can imagine it would work rather well for people living around Canada Water/Rotherhithe because the SQLP complex is rather well served by buses and is a quick walk from Surrey Quays and Canada...more

Great cinema, loads of choice, friendly staff.
The booking system could be smoother though.
They need another cashier there, because Orange Wednesday's gets too busymore
