I stumbled in to the Tea House quite by accident as I strolled through Covent Gardens. As a tea lover, I was intrigued at the quaintness of the exterior. Once inside however, my eyes were simply overwhelmed (in a good way) at the selection of teas, tea accessories, and all things tea related.

My sister sent me to the tea house in search of a particular loose leaf tea she'd purchased there last fall. Although they were out of the kind she had wanted, they had a very nice selection of other loose leaf black teas (as well as green, rooibos, etc). What a great tea shop. They had everything we (group of four) were looking for, plus of course a whole lot more. I spent a good hour smelling the different blends, comparison shopping, before buying a small bag of one of their jasmine teas.
My one complaint is that a lot of their samples smelled old and dusty, which obviously makes it difficult to judge the aroma.more
