The Metropolitan
Overview
This traditional London pub has it all. Join the throngs of people that congregate outside the pub and in the beer garden during the hot summer months. Dine Alfresco on the roof terrace or in style in your own private dining room. The first floor restaurant offers a private dining room for groups of 8 to 14, a larger dining room seating 40 and a roof terrace that seats 24. Traditional Sunday roasts are ever popular and booking in advance is recommended. Meals can be eaten in the atmosphere of a real pub downstairs, the beer garden or in the warm surrounds of the first floor restaurant.

They have a few options, including a veggie and a 'chicken burger', which we all know is actually a sandwich, but this is a rant for another day.
Their tap and bottle selection is decent, as is the wine list, which is also reasonably...more
The Metropolitan is a great local bar just next to Westbourne Park tube, making it a good spot to meet people. It gets busy even on the weekday evenings, with people grabbing a post work drink, or some really good pub food. The sausage and mash is great, and perfect for a cold winters day. I like the large ceilings and the relaxed atmosphere of this traditional looking place.

The Metropolitan is a great pub which still manages to attract the locals and others who are just passing through. During the summer the pub is heaving with punters spilling onto the pavement and into the beer garden. Ideally located next to Westbourne Park station this pub is a great first stop for people heading towards Portobello or Notting Hill. At the weekends there are live DJs so get...more
A great, relaxed atmosphere which was a perfect choice to watch the football on a Sunday afternoon. Coupled with a very tasty pork belly roast with Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings for a reasonable £12.50, I couldn't have been happier. Unless the winning goal hadn't been disallowed.
