Hidden gem is definitely the best way to describe this place. I was quite shocked by it! The bar area is stunning...the theatre a decent size and my only complaint was the obnoxious man on the box office! But really surprised I haven't been here before! It's great!more

There's a bar downstairs in the basement which was...more

This comment is based on experience of having booked the place for amateur dramatic productions by the Spread Eagle Players.

The place is delightful. It has a great theatre seating about 130-140 people, with lights and sound facilities, a dressing room, backstage areas and more. And, would you believe it, the whole thing is in the basement of the Bridewell Institute, occupying the former...more
