Welcome to Strongroom Bar & Kitchen! For nearly 20 years we have been serving the ever changing faces of Shoreditch in our unique Jamie Reid designed space. As part of the legendary Strongroom recording studios, we have always been a creative and cultural hub and one of the first late night venues to entertain Shoreditch back in the dark days of warehouses, cruising joints and strip bars... Over the years, Shoreditch has matured and our operation has expanded and grown organically - Our kitchen has become synonymous with awesome burgers and fresh seasonal food. Our expansive beer list features local and international micro breweries. You can still discover new and emerging artists at our live music nights. Our DJ nights are eclectic and focus on "real' not manufactured or commercial music. A recent extension offers light and airy surrounds for breakfast meetings, coffee mornings and private hire.

A nice hidden away bar that I recently went back to (April 2015) after a while away and I noticed that they have refurbished the bottom level area. They have St Stefanus (on half) which is a great Belgian beer. Strong like Leffe but it's one the a few good beers there to choose from.more
Refreshing and interesting!
It is lovely to walk into a restaurant and feel surprised, this one did it for me! I love the outside court yard it makes it feel open and refreshing.
Will definitely revisit and try their food!more

I had the chicken burger with cheese and chips. All portions were of decent size and extremely tasty.
Personally I'm not a beer person, THOUGH they had two very impressive Pilsner barrels that enables the beer to go straight from the barrel to your pint! Definitely a...more
This would have been five stars until I started noticing the mice!

Go for the Ballad Brunch on Saturday 12-4 and you can cry through your hangover or dance off the last of the tipple with some well...more
