Had a great time here last Friday for some serious afterwork drinks! Although very busy AND loud, queue was quick, staff was helpful and my ciders were delicious...That's all you ask right? Having a 360° bar makes it easy to access, although you might need to scream a bit to make sure you don't end up with a Guiness instead of your beloved prosecco ah!
Glad to have that pub round the corner!more
We visited here on a Friday night, we went thinking it wouldn't be overly busy, we were wrong. People were spilling into the street but I could see why. It's a great bar: lively, large open spaces, plenty of seating and a square bar slap bag in the centre - making it easily accessible.
We grabbed a drink with ease and perched by the bar. After a while (around half 7), the place became quieter...more
Sometimes I don't know what I'm expecting when I go out drinking in Central, but more often than not I'm a bit disappointed.
The Slaughtered Lamb is just behind my husbands new office and whilst he's been there during the day - I don't think he's been there after work. We decided to go one night to grab a beer.
I think it's run by the same people who run the Well and Bucket on the Bethnal...more
Worth almost missing your train home for.
This place is rad. I've been here twice and I'm most certainly a fan -- once to see a friend who lives in London and once by pure, happy accident. The return visit confirmed what a cool place it is: sweet DJ playing a great selection, chilled staff who're quick to serve, a great selection of craft beer and ale, and some pretty funky vintage furniture...more
Really, really, really...really liked this pub!
It's a good old fashioned English/London boozer where most people are hanging out on the streets drinking as opposed to sat inside but that's not a problem at all as it was super easy to get a seat inside and get served at the bar this time.
There's a great selection of craft beers on offer in the fridges and on tap it's very heavy on Camden...more
