Established in 1990, The Half Moon Young People's Theatre is a local organisation with a national remit, based in Tower Hamlets, East London.

The company gives young people from birth to 18 an opportunity to experience the best in young people's theatre, both as a participant and as an audience member. The company places an emphasis on engaging anyone who feels excluded from arts activity, such as those from BME communities, deaf and disabled people, or those excluded due to socio-economic circumstance.

It is a privilege to have this historic boozer and venue on our doorstep. The Halfmoon, Putney, has hosted live music full time since 1963. From The Rolling Stones to Kasabian, Kate Bush to Natasha Bedingfield, the venue has seen them all and is steeped in a rich musical heritage. Every photo on the wall means the artist in it has played the venue. Its like a "Who's who?" of British music...more
