Great venue for the best artists who come to town! A very similar layout to the Brixton academy, though I think there is more capacity.

I was here to see The Cult and I must say the venue was bigger than I expected. BUT then again it's not huge, so you can see properly from everywhere (the floor slants upwards and there is a balcony level too) and it's intimate enough for an atmosphere to come up. Also the venue is pretty close to the tube (about 3 min walking). The only thing I was not too fond of, as always, the bathrooms....more

What a lovely venue. Of course, the fact that I saw Jonsi really does contribute to a five star rating, BUT I'm here to rate the Apollo! Which is a fine venue that has two bars, quick service and checks, and with friendly, helpful staff.
