A classic venue. I've been here for standing-only gigs and for seated performances. Great sightlines, good sound, and a fabulously easy to get to location. I've visited the Apollo three times in three decades. Once as a teen in the 90s watching catchphrase comedy TV sketch show the Fast Show. 'Suits you sir'. I remember thinking how large the venue was, and how tiny they all looked on the stage.

The only problem we had with the Apollo was that it was unbearably hot. People were fanning themselves with their...more
James Arthur had a sold out concert here and I got a ticket! Yay
I wouldn't call the Hammersmith Apollo the best venue for concerts ever... There is no real standing area and concert with so many seats to me just doesn't seem right. Obviously we didn't sit down the whole time but you weren't allowed to stand away from your seat into the aisle which would have been great.
There was a couple...more
