The World's End is a large pub, run-of-the-mill in all respects other than two: it hosts local bands and, far more significantly, has an old-school table football.

The pub is fine, the venue is big enough for bands to play not annoying the ones not really into the music night.

Fair place to go, not my fav though.more

So chain pubs aren't really my thing, but this one has a few positive points that make it worth a visit. The Finsbury Park area seems to be devoid of decent pubs, so the options are limited anyway.

The bar has all the standard beers, wines and spirits, and the d├ęcor is typical of a chain pub. The thing that I like about it is the live music.

Every Saturday and Sunday, there is a showcase of...more
