Fun place to come at night, but it gets very, very crowded. It can take ages to get a drink at the main bar. This place draws an eclectic crowd -- no surprise there, it's smack dab in the middle of Hackney. Came here on a Saturday night for drinks with friends and this place was packed! The outside patio with tables by the canal was full of people, and inside was even more so. I imagine on a sunny summer day it would be absolutely mental!
I mainly had wine, which was all between £4-5 per glass, but I heard lots of great things about the beer. Trouble was, it was hard to get close to the bar...more
