Sadly this place was not great. I will say the biggest thing that let them down was the food. The staff were very nice , large sunny beer garden . If thats all you want then great place.

The outside of this pub looks so promising and quirky, but we visited on a Saturday evening around 8pm and the inside was pretty generic, with no atmosphere or character. Came in for a quick pint and a snack after work on the way to visit a friend. I couldn't quite work out the vibe as it was still very early on in evening and not too busy. Such a fabulous pub. I love going to the Salutation, especially when it's sunny and warm as the beer garden is AMAZING. Seriously one of the best in London.

They usually offer some sort of hot cheese. It used to be a whole baked camembert, but lately they've changed to a cheese fondue with crudites as a starter. DIVINE!
