I wanted to love it, because it's so attractive, but the food was a but of an expensive disappointment. The fish (species?) was oily and left my fingers smelling really fishy. The chips were just ok. Like dmj1962, I think the refurbishment has spoiled the pub. Most Young's venues have three hand-pumps for their real ales, one for Ordinary (Bitter), one for Special and the other for a guest or seasonal ale.

The Brittania, Allen Street, is a Young's Pub tucked away just off Kensington High Street.

It's a large and spacious pub, and used be a favourite haunt of real ale drinkers in the area.
