Pub with a lot of history, went to try their Sunday roast and is wonderful. It's basically in front of the Camden Market, so you can wander and shop for a while and rest while eating something and drinking a good pint without going too far.more

Yep I love music and the music history certainly seeps through the walls here and everything on paper tells me I should absolutely love this pub. But I don't. I'm sorry.

Errr by the time we arrived at the Hawley Arms, we were at our 3rd stop on the friend's-birthday-pub-crawl and probably our 8th beer and 4th shot. So it was less of a clear memory to be honest. I still remember quite well the pub and its arrangements nonetheless.

I like this pub, and will definitely go back, but I can sum it up with the following Ramones lyrics:

"Rock, rock, rock, rock, rock n' roll high school!"

Loud (but excellent) music, beautiful old pub, excellent history, rockers. Take your date and your axe, but leave your mum out of it . . . unless she was a groupie for the 'Stones.
