Saw the opening match of the 04-05 season, after FFC returns to Craven Cottage from its ground-sharing with QPR. Got a ticket (after being told by several locals it would likely be sold out) with an "obstructed view". Turns out to be a stanchion that obstructs about .5 meters of pitch. What a bummer. :)

Compared to American stadiums (that seat up to 100,000 people) this lovely stadium on the river is old, the seats are horribly small and uncomfortable, but it's charm is amazing. As a visiting fan this is a great away day. Compared to the usual away days Fulham is a great day out, nice pubs, nice area, good banter from the locals and a very welcoming ground which is full of character. It is a little crampt in the stands and away fans are put into the temporary stand but this is still near the top of grounds I like going tomore
