Ahir is not just a restaurant- it is also a bar which is still open when the rest of the places in Finchley Central have all closed down- which can be useful.

Ahir Lorenzos looks like someone has taken a bar from the beach-front in Bodrum and dropped it next to a main road in Finchley!
Once inside it gets even better with random trinkets and paraphernalia all over the place, people Salsa dancing in the back and the sweet smell of tobacco and molasses floating in from the front terrace.
They have backgammon sets galore and people play cards here...more
