Overview
The Yaa Asantewaa centre, named after the warrior Queen mother of the Ashanti people of Ghana, is a prize winning Black arts and community centre, based in West London. The activities which are created to highlight the Black experience in London, include African/Caribbean Dance Workshops, Capoeira, singing, theatre, carnival arts, Black history events and workshops, and an after school club.
