Welcome to Macellaio Roberto Costa, kingdom of Italian Fassone beef in London. Macellaio Roberto Costa is the first butchery-restaurant opened in London. Our butchery inside the restaurant offers only products of excellence among which Fassona Piemontese meat, cheese, charcuterie and wine selected from the best Italian's Companies, preferring the Artisans of Taste rather than Food Industries. The meat selection takes place in 7 cowsheds, located between Monforte d'Alba, Serralunga, Roddi and Alba. Among the cheese stands out the Gorgonzola Tosi, produced in the city of Gattico (100litres of milk for 12kg of Gorgonzola). We strongly believe that to better interpret our profession you should never reach a compromise, quality above all. The welcome is the typical italian, like the one that was in the habit of the old Trattorie of 'Bel Paese', a warm familiar greeting and the willingness to provide the best service.

Overall, we had a...more

Butcher shop meets (and meats!) neighbourhood Italian restaurant in this popular eatery on Old Brompton Road.
From the outside it looks like an unassuming butcher shop with large cuts of meat hanging in the window, however the red leather sofa outside gives away that inside is quite a trendy hangout. Small inside space of white and red tile and butcher counter complete with the butcher...more
Do you like steak? Was that a rhetorical question?

The staff were really attentive and really passionate about their food. Since...more
