The Shed is a nice little set up in an attractive building in Notting Hill.

We had friendly staff wait on us although they were a little pushy on the time we had to spend on the table I guess the down side of being busy, even mid week. The decor is cool but the seating arrangements are a little on the uncomfortable, tables a little too close and chairs / stools more designed for decorations...more

I'd never heard of this place before, but a friend suggested it for a Friday night dinner and it is such a great find. We didn't have a reservation, but managed to show up at just the right time and got the last available table outside (they also take a limited number of reservations). The Shed was a very interesting find, with some very good usage of fresh vegetables, not like your usual British restaurant. In some ways it reminds me of The Dairy on Clapham but with less experimental elements in its cooking. I really liked this place.

Great location, very popular with great people watching and a cool crowd. The staff is super friendly and helpful! The food is really good. Fresh as it gets with some really well thought out recipes that are definitely not your standard fair. I had things tonight that I've never had and they were delicious.
