Pizza Express is, in my humble opinion, one of the better mass chains in the UK. Hadn't ever been to this PE location. We were having a Sunday wander along the King's Road and thought it seemed as good an option as any for an easy dinner.

Service was great. Food was so-so. I tried the new "speciale" dough balls with cheese and they were ok, but I think I still prefer the regular variety. I've had better meals from other PE locations. Nothing bad, but nothing to write...more

You'd be forgiven for thinking you had accidentally just stumbled into children's party when you walk in. Screaming kids running around, yummy mummies, and the array of BMW level buggies 'parked' all over the restaurant. It is frankly a bit annoying.

I haven't found any other pizza places in the immediate vicinity, so for that reason alone, Pizza Express deserves a free pass (barely). However, truth be told, the pizza here is not very good. The taste sits somewhere on the scale between a passable slice and an old pizza box.
