I do love a bar that's different. I normally hate a sports bar. Which of these will win out?! Well the former (judging by my star rating) because the USP for this bar was pretty cool indeed. And if you're not a well-toned athlete (like me) it really doesn't matter because you can drink!
Boune, aptly named as Holborn's foremost in ping-pong bars, was a short descent below High Holborn. I met...more
We went to Bounce with some colleagues for a team night out - and reading the comments below, it seems that's a lot what this place is about.
It's a surprising place in terms of atmosphere: big, lots of room, and full of ping pong tables.
The food was okay, and spent most of the evening avoiding the ping pong balls. It was a fun experience, but probably wouldn't go there by myself.more

I went to Bounce as part of a team night out with my colleagues. We had a great time, but it wasn't cost-effective fun. It was different, we did have a really good time, but I don't think I'd go with friends as the drinks were a bit overpriced and it was £18 per hour for a table (bit steep).
I was a bit baffled by the people who were there just to drink or eat and weren't with anyone playing...more
Bounce is a good spot for what it is, the facilities are very well kept and equipment good. They have Coors Light on tap if that's your thing. Book a table ahead on a weekend. It's a bit awkward when they have to kick someone off a table when your time comes up, the folks we had to boot lingered a bit. One of the guys and gave me a bit of a look, but this review isn't about him.
