Copita
Overview
Welcome to Copita,
We love the Spanish culture of eating either standing up or on stools at bar level. We think it creates an upbeat, relaxed environment that you don’t get in a restaurant a lot of the time. Copita is a venue that reflects this.
As listed in The 100 best dishes in London
However, just because it is a bar environment doesn’t mean the food is secondary to the drink offering, on the contrary, food is a matter of life and death. Our menu is constantly evolving with a particular focus on sourcing great ingredients.
All our wines are served by the glass, half bottle carafe and bottle.
We love sherry too, so have 15 varieties by the glass to choose from. Sherry really is a fantastic accompaniment to food.
Of course, you can get a lovely cold beer too, glass of top quality cava, as well as a San Sebastian style gin & tonic and a host of other spirits including pacharan, Spanish liqueurs and a small selection of Spanish brandy.

I'm very torn on this place. We got 3 tapas plates and 2 glasses of wine.
The wine was great - love that all their wine is on tap and they price the glasses the same as the bottle so you can have either without feeling like you are getting ripped off or try ton a of wines without breaking the bank.
On the food side, I loved one of the 3 (the winter salad - I would eat it again and again)...more

This tapas bar has just opened to a fanfare of brilliant reviews in the press and on blogs. I don't really get it. I didn't get off to a good start with my waitress. I asked
how the Gurnard was cooked - it's described as Gurnard, Carrot and Saffron. So I was enquiring to find out a little bit more - maybe about whether it's grilled, poached, the usual stuff. However, she tried to...more
Do you like Tapas, and wine and practising your spanish? If you're like me then you'll really enjoy this place. The wine selection is good and the tapas are pretty good. I've tried the cheese plate with membrillo and its pretty darn good. Only thing you might want to do is order bread because the bread sticks that come with the plate is a bit awkward. The quail or pidgen we had was a bit too...more
