I just looove the steak here! The starter has changed since the last time I visited. I had the beef/bacon with Yorkshire pudding. The steak was amazing! And the dessert was shortbread with peanut butter ice cream. Yummyyyy!more
This restaurant is really a favorite in London! I usually like going for the express menu. I was there the other night and had the pork starter (which was very flavorful), rump steak (cooked to perfection) and the peanut butter shortbread. Whomever evoked Great Gatsby as the atmosphere of this restaurant nailed it. It's very art deco. This Hawksmoor will remind you of a Great Gastby feel. I've been here twice: Once for NYE, and the other was taking the other half's parents. Both occassions the food and the staff have been amazing. The drinks are lush and the food is declious. It is a bit pricey so I would recommend it for a special occasion.
