Great reasonably-priced place for lunch as long as you are a bit flexible about what you eat. Friendly atmosphere with service which is miles better than the standard of food management. Myself and the same small group of colleagues decided to give them another go, after last year's pre-Christmas lunch when they ran out of steaks, desserts and pretty much everything else on the menu.
I really enjoyed this link in All Bar One's large and London-heavy chain.
My friend and I tried this particular because, being in the Liverpool Street area, it was really close to her fancy high-powered financial job. All bar one makes me think that they're trying too hard to be as loud as a nightclub with the ambiance of a traditional pub setting. It just doesn't work for me, it feels forced.
Too loud to have a conversation, service was prompt but delivered with an attitude.
Its not worth it. There's better bars near by.more
As a pub it remains true to the template of all bar one the pine strip feel with simple clean lines and a fair selection of keenly priced food and drink.

Fairly generic (well it is a chain) pub. The food is nothing special (ok burgers and other standard choices) but the staff are nice and they have a good selection of beers, wines and ciders. They have an organic ale and some Belgian beers, Aspalls on draught and the Peronells Blush.
Not being a wine drinker I can't comment on their selection but it appears they have a good range.
