Please don't accept online bookings if the technology isn't up to it. The waitress eyed me suspiciously when I mentioned my lunch booking, then said 'but you must have booked online, the system's down', in a tone which suggested this was somehow my fault. My friend and I tried this particular because, being in the Liverpool Street area, it was really close to her fancy high-powered financial job. All bar one makes me think that they're trying too hard to be as loud as a nightclub with the ambiance of a traditional pub setting. It just doesn't work for me, it feels forced.
Too loud to have a conversation, service was prompt but delivered with an attitude.
Its not worth it. There's better bars near by.more
As a pub it remains true to the template of all bar one the pine strip feel with simple clean lines and a fair selection of keenly priced food and drink.
