I was enjoying some nice al fresco beers with my mates on Islington Green, and the next thing I remember, the group decided to get up and walk towards the City to find a pub. We somehow ended up at the Dickens Inn... and I have to say, it was not worth the walk.

Absolutely love this place! It's in St. Katherine's Dock, across from Tower of London. Actually been here a few times; each visit was great!
Service is good even when packed, and I do mean packed. It's close to a lot of office buildings so happy hour here is bumping.

We opted to go here when we ran out of options. We tried the chicken pannini which was forgettable and we also had the fish and chips. IT was quite expensive, 13 pounds, for just one cod and it tasted ordinary. It was good, but it left a bad taste in my mouth by being so much money.more
Dickens Inn, the best watering hole in London situated right alongside St. Katherine's Dock. I've been here a few times now and it seems as if every time I come here it's Pimm's O'Clock. They make the best Pimm's cocktail in all of London, and trust me, I've nearly tried them all!
