Had high hopes for a nice weekend brunch at 3 South Place given all the rave reviews. This is a "hotel" restaurant in The City, very near Moorgate Station. If I were a guest at this hotel, I'd be very pleased to have this restaurant so close to "home!"
*Brunch in the City on a weekend - a bit of a rare find.

The menu itself is the intersection of British and American cuisines -- you have the rarebit and the pot pies, but also the steaks and lobster rolls. The cocktail list had primarily American-style cocktails, very...more
